AMOR

Description

Founded in 2009 to promote and organize recycling with social impact, AMOR is now working in 15 out of the 53 Municipalities of the country, with headquarters in Maputo, offices in Vilankulo, Beira and Pemba.

Over the past years, AMOR has succesfully implemented over 30 recycling projects, involving 2000 community members and over 40 000 children through activities in 35 primary and secondary schools. More information in our Project Catalogue.

Today, It is estimated that between 400 and 600t of waste are recycled everymonth, involving 1500 to 2000 participants. This is certainly an achievement and we would like to thank all our partners who have been supporting AMOR and waste recycling in Mozambique.
